11am to 2pm at the Pines ManorHackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center will be providing the following:
Blood Pressure, Pulse, Cholesterol, Glucose, BMI and Stroke Risk Assessment as well as individual consultation with the nurse.
The following will also be provided:
* Speech and Audiology department will provide cognitive screenings
* Breast center will provide education on breast cancer, cystic breast disease, we have models for women to see what different breast entities feels like
* Stroke and Neuro have lots of information on stroke prevention and do blood pressures
* Oncology teaches about basic good health to avoid cancers
* Hospice will provide counseling on “Having the Conversation” with your family about advanced directives (living wills) and will have counselors on site to help people fill out their own advanced directives
* Maternity and Neonatal will provide education on good pre-natal health and care of the infant
* Radiology will have a display about all the advanced radiological testing that are available to the community
* Adult Day Care is a very popular table about care for the elderly and lots of education on Alzheimer’s disease
And Sleep Lab, education on sleep apnea and its health risks.
We will also have Free scoliosis screening and back pain and care consultation by Jeevam Therapy LLC
Brightstar Homecare will provide FREE aromatherapy hand massage!
